My Approach & Me
"Life is messy. Being a human is messy. It's not as neat as our 'shoulds' and 'shouldn'ts' would have us believe." B.R.
a rested woman is a powerful woman
My Mission
My mission is to support women who have spent years being strong, capable and dependable for everyone ese, while becoming disconnected from their own needs, identity and life.
Many women I work with are high-achieving, high functioning and holding it all together for friends, family and partners, They have learnt to prioritise others, push through exhaustion and measure their worth by what they achieve or how much they can give. Over time this can lead to anxiety, overwhelm, burnout and a feeling of losing themselves.
I believe a rested woman is a powerful woman. Rest is not something you have to earn once everything is done; it is a fundamental part of caring for yourself. Learning to slow down, listen to your needs and release the guilt that comes with putting yourself first can be a deeply transformative process.
Therapy offers a space to understand the reasons that have kept you in over-giving survival mode, reconnect with yourself and build a life where your needs, values and wellbeing matter too.

My aim is to support women to move away from self-abandonment and towards greater self-trust, emotional freedom and the confidence to create a life that feels authentic, balaned and fulfilling.
My Approach
How we work together
My approach bridges depth psychology, attachment-focussed trauma therapy and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I see emotional distress not as something to eliminate but as meaningful information that often points towards unresolved wounds, unmet attachment needs, and disowned aspects of ourselves. I often ask the question, "Who did you have to become to stay attached?" Through compassionate exploration of unconscious patterns, shadow material, and early relational experiences, we uncover the roots of present-day struggles.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Alongside this deeper exploration, ACT offers a practical framework for developing psychological flexibility, supporting you to make space for difficult emotions, loosen the grip of negative thoughts, and reconnect with what matters most. We work together to choose individual values that define who you are and making small committed actions that move you closer to the person you were always meant to be. I will support you to author your own life.
By integrating insight with action, the therapeutic process supports both deep healing and meaningful and observable change. A stronger sense of self, healthier relationships and a more values-led life is what we will work towards, together.
"When in doubt, just take the next small step" Paulo Coelho
Who I work with
I work best with women who are curious about themselves and interested in looking beneath the surface of their difficulties. Women from all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, religions and abilities who are interested in understanding how their early experiences, relationships and attachment patterns continue to shape their lives today.
Therapy with me is an active process. Are you someone who is looking for something more than symptom relief? Are you interested in understanding yourself at a deeper level and making sense of how your past experiences continue to influence your present relationships, choices and sense of self? Are you willing to take small actions to move forwards? To work towards living the colourful live you deserve? Are you a woman who wants to put yourself in the center of your own life and willing to tolerate the discomfort of saying no?
I work collaboratively with a focus on honesty, curiosity and personal responsibility in therapy. In my experience, progress is made when we both bring engagement, commitment and presence to the therapeutic space.
